One-on-one lessons via Zoom.
60-minute weekly sessions.
Personalised roadmap with progress reports.
Tiny Code’s Online Program delivers private coding lessons live via Zoom, with the same personalised, project-based approach as our in-home teaching. An experienced teacher from a computer science background leads 60-minute one-on-one sessions designed to build real skills in coding, AI, web development, and digital literacy through hands-on project work. Each student begins with a free 45-minute trial class, receives a personalised 16-class roadmap, and continues with progress reports every 4 classes. All classes are taught in English for students ages 8 and above.

Expert Teachers
All our instructors come from computer science backgrounds with real teaching experience. They deliver focused, interactive lessons that keep students engaged through a screen.
Our Curriculum

Tiny Code’s curriculum is built on one principle: real understanding over imitation. Rather than relying on slides, skeleton code, or copy-and-paste exercises, our online lessons focus on genuine understanding through live, interactive teaching. Every lesson is thoughtful, practical, and designed to help children become capable, independent creators who can think for themselves, solve problems, and build something of their own.
Our curriculum is designed by teachers with computer science backgrounds and is regularly updated to reflect current developments in technology, AI, and STEM education. It follows four progressive stages, from beginner work with tools like Scratch through to Python, JavaScript, web development, and AI for advanced students. Online students work through the same structured progression as in-home students, with every project adapted for effective screen-based collaboration. Every student follows a personalised roadmap built around their age, ability, and pace.
Our Tools

Online students use carefully selected tools across coding, game design, app development, web development, and AI. All platforms used in online lessons are browser-based or easy to set up, ensuring lessons start smoothly every time. Depending on their personalised roadmap, students learn with Scratch, Python, JavaScript, Roblox Studio, Minecraft Education, micro:bit simulators, and more.

FAQ
1. What equipment does my child need for online classes?
A laptop or computer (Mac or Windows) with a stable internet connection and a working camera and microphone. For certain topics, a Minecraft account or Roblox account may be needed. The teacher will advise on any specific requirements before the lesson.
2. How do the online classes work?
Each class is a live 60-minute private lesson conducted via Zoom. The teacher shares screens, explains concepts in real time, watches the student code, and provides immediate feedback. These are fully interactive sessions, not recorded videos or self-paced tutorials.
3. What ages are the online classes for?
Online classes are available for ages 8 and above. The curriculum and teaching approach are tailored to each student’s age, level, and interests. All classes are taught in English.
4. Can siblings or friends join the same lesson?
Yes. Up to 3 students can join the same online session. Each additional student adds HK$100 per class to the package rate. Each student still follows their own personalised roadmap.
5. What does the free trial class include?
The trial is a free 45-minute online lesson via Zoom. Your child meets the teacher, experiences the teaching style, and is assessed for level, confidence, and interests. After the trial, the teacher creates a personalised 16-class roadmap before the family decides on next steps.
